Surf coaching is my passion, from teaching complete beginners to catch their first wave to seeing more advanced surfers land technical manoeuvres gives me such a buzz! Surfing is such an amazing sport, I feel every one should try it at least once, and who knows, you may get hooked as well!
As far as qualifications go, I am a fully qualified Surfing GB coach, hold a current Beach Lifeguard certificate, have an enhanced CRB certificate and am fully insured through Surfing GB.
I have been surfing for over 6 years and coaching in Bude, Cornwall for the last 3 years! Prior to surf coaching I was a tennis coach and also qualified as a ski instructor, a pure love for teaching/instructing! Now completely hooked on surfing and its lifestyle, I live and work on the sea front at Bude.
Once you have mastered the basics of surfing, the world's your oyster, there are so many amazing places with great waves that you may never have thought of visiting previously!! When not in Bude, I try to travel to find more waves and increase my experience of the world, so far I have toured South Africa, from Cape Town up to Durban, west coast of Europe surfing through France, Spain and Portugal, the Canary Island of Lanzarote and also Mozambique!
